In One Amazing Thing, I too found it hard to believe the characters would open up to each other with vulnerable stories and public confessions during a crisis. That said, each story captivated my attention, and I was engaged. Looking forward to the discussion on Sunday!

Sam and Dave Dig A Hole was one of our girls' favorites; they still talk about it from time to time!

I'm a late reader who's finally catching up on books I've always wanted to read (but never did in my younger years). A few recent favorites include: Smith's A Tree Grows in Brooklyn; Avi's The Beginning of the End and Poppy; Lewis's The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe; Cushman's The Midwife's Apprentice; Park's A Single Shard. Loved them all.

Bunny in the Middle is a heart-warming picture book that we stumbled across in the library. It resonated with our middle daughter.

Thank you for recommending Wargo's Other Words for Home and Doerrfield's The Rabbit Listened. Beautiful!!

I'm hoping to start Everett's James soon, based on your suggestion. Thank you, Lorrie!
